Fodera Monarch 4

This is Brian's main Fodera four-string bass. It was purchased at Bass Central in the summer of 2002. He already owned a similar Fodera four-string that he purchased at Bass Northwest in 2000; therefore, his original intention was to have one tuned as a Tenor (ADGC) and one tuned in Standard (EADG) for his solo bass performances. However, when the bass arrived, he loved it so much it instantly became his main bass. In 2008, the pickups were changed to Seymour Duncan. To better accommodate Brian's playing style, the knobs were relocated, and a ramp was designed and constructed by Joey Lauricella and Vinny Fodera and placed at the heel of the neck.
