Fender BG-29 Acoustic Bass

Brian purchased this instrument at The Guitar and Amp Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia, shortly after he began writing songs. He states, "after I picked up the bass and discovered it was a short-scale instrument with a built-in tuner, I knew it would be a great tool to write songs. Every song on the record 'Within This Brief Time' was written on this bass. It has been through a lot in the last few years. Warren Dovel, the owner of the shop, and I put our heads together and he built the ramp for me to make it easier to play with the techniques I use. Actually, the ramp added on this bass was the catalyst for my having something similar built on each of my electrics; it just was far easier on my hand and much more comfortable."
