Fender 1973 Jazz Bass

Brian's 1973 Fender Jazz Bass was originally thought to be a 1975, when he called Chicago Music Exchange with the intention to purchase a vintage Jazz Bass. He knew that the company had significant knowledge of and expertise in vintage instruments; so, he felt comfortable with asking one of their employees to test out a number of Jazz basses with the specifications, within Brian's budget parameters, and within the construction dates Brian requested. Since the purchase of the instrument, a LeoQuann BadAss II Bridge has been installed, as well as a J-Retro Preamp; moreover, two additional pickguards were added to give minimal space between the body and strings. This bass can be heard on the songs "You Lied," "Baby's Breath," "Counting Lucky Stars," and "She's All You'll Ever Need."
